Green glass beer bottle. Made for Huxtables of Newquay, Cornwall. Date around 1900.

Huxtables were a Newquay-based firm. There are earthenware cider jars also stamped with their name.

Beer was bottled in green or brown to keep its flavour and stop it from deteriorating.
